Japan Post Holdings Co., Ltd.  is a Japanese state-owned enterprise in Japan that deals with mail delivery and financial services.Its headquarters is located in Kasumigaseki, Chiyoda, Tokyo. There were plans to fully privatise the agency but these have been put on hold. The organisation was ranked #9 in the Fortune Global 500 of 2011having been ranked #6 the previous year.The company was founded on 23 January 2006, although it was not until October 2007 that it took over the functions of Japan Post.
